Alicia Fingal

Human Development Director

As our Human Development Director, Alicia has a deep commitment to supporting children, families and the professionals who care for them. She holds an Honours degree in Psychology and a diploma in Early Childhood Education, bringing both strong expertise and genuine warmth to her work. Alicia has extensive experience supporting adult professionals to build their capacity, confidence and well-being.

With over 10 years of experience as a childcare centre supervisor and director, Alicia is known for her ability to support complex behaviours, deepen understanding of child and human development, and mentor educators in recognizing and igniting their potential. She has honed her skills in cultivating enriching environments that support both children and the professionals who work alongside them.

Alicia believes deeply in the transformative power of knowledge. She is dedicated to equipping professionals with practical tools they can use to make a meaningful difference, while raising awareness about the impact of adverse childhood experiences and trauma on development and well-being.

Outside of her work with Imagine, Alicia finds joy in simple moments—watching the sunset, connecting with nature, and spending time with friends and family. Whether embarking on adventures, gathering for game nights or embracing quiet moments, she values the balance and connection these moments bring.
