Launa Clark

She holds a Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services, a Diploma in Early Childhood Development, and certifications in Workplace Mental Health Leadership and Mindful Self-Compassion. As a lifelong learner, Launa has also pursued additional training in Creative and Critical Thinking Assessment and is a certified Neurolinguistic Practitioner.

Launa believes deeply in the teaching and healing power of play. Her playful leadership and facilitation style invite open, honest conversations about hard things, while fostering respectful curiosity and meaningful human connection. She creates spaces where people feel safe to explore the wisdom they carry.

A self-identified multipotentialite, Launa is energized by learning new skills and engaging with people who think differently. This mindset supports her ability to navigate complex projects, honour lived experience and model a strong commitment to positive change within the human services field.

Based in Calgary, Launa brings extensive experience in adult education, curriculum development and community engagement, including post-secondary teaching and work on provincial initiatives within human services.

At the heart of her work is a commitment to helping people be the best they can be for those they care about. This passion that starts with her blended family—her husband, Mark and their seven children. She often says, “Just add sunshine and water and I’m the best mom/grandma in the land.”
