Intergenerational Wisdom
Have you ever wondered how strength, wisdom, and resilience can be passed down through generations, even in the face of deep trauma?
CATEGORY: Trauma-Informed Care
LENGTH: 12 hours

This two-day training invites participants to reframe the narrative of intergenerational trauma by exploring Indigenous ways of knowing, storytelling, and connection.
Created in collaboration with Elders and Knowledge Keepers across Alberta, this training offers a brave space to reflect on histories such as residential schools and the Sixties and Millennial Scoops, while honoring the enduring resilience within Indigenous communities. Through shared stories, cultural learning, and collective reflection, participants will deepen their understanding of how trauma, and healing, move through generations and how we can all contribute to breaking cycles and nurturing strength.
